Getting Started
Start with your account setup, then move through customers, estimating and job follow-up.
1. Complete Business InformationAdd company identity, contact details, logo and defaults.
2. Add or select a customerCustomers stores reusable client information for future estimates.
3. Build and save the estimateUse Estimates to price the job and Save Estimate to create its estimate number.
4. Follow it in Estimate HistoryOpen, approve, deny or schedule the estimate from Estimate History.
Customers is your reusable client directory and links client contact information to estimates.
Add customerSave name, company, phone, email and address.
Customer email mattersSchedule confirmations are sent to the email saved on the customer record.
Customers save automaticallyWhen you save an estimate, a new customer is automatically added to Customers or linked to the existing matching customer. Selecting a saved customer also fills their email.
Estimates remain safeDeleting a customer does not delete existing estimates.
ContraDatum can be installed on a phone or tablet and used like an app. No App Store or Google Play download is required.

Open ContraDatum in SafariGo to contradatum.com/app and sign in normally.
Tap the Share buttonUse Safari's Share button in the browser controls.
Choose Add to Home ScreenScroll the Share menu if the option is not immediately visible.
Tap AddThe ContraDatum icon will appear on your Home Screen.
Android Phone & TabletUse Chrome
Open ContraDatum in ChromeGo to contradatum.com/app and sign in normally.
Open the Chrome menuTap the three-dot menu in Chrome.
Choose Install appDepending on the Android version, it may say Add to Home screen.
Confirm InstallContraDatum will be added to your device and can be opened like a regular app.
After installation:
Open ContraDatum from its Home Screen icon for the full app-style experience. Keep Safari or Chrome available for reinstalling the app if you ever remove it.
